Delay to new Newport bus station

The opening of the new Friars Walk bus station in Newport, which was due to be in use from Sunday 15 November, has been delayed. The bus station is part of a new retail development in the city which also houses a multi screen cinema and was officially opened last week. Contractors for the redevelopment, Queensberry Real Estate, preferred not to comment. The current bus stop arrangements will continue.
