Cummins promotes like-for-like engine replacement
Aftercare was Cummins‘ focus at the Euro Bus Expo.
In light of cost rises associated with running fleets, Cummins promoted its aftercare services at the show, including its turnkey like-for-like engine replacement service. The engine-specialist highlighted the alternative of replacing engines rather than fleets. According to the company, this approach offers a host of benefits, including significant cost savings, reduced environmental impact and enhanced operational efficiency. It highlights the additional benefit of its Euro VI engine, which has a factory-backed warranty of up to five years as standard.
Cummins’ turnkey like-for-like engine replacement service can be incorporated into a service agreement. They are in place with a number of big city bus operators across Europe, including Transport UK London Bus, which operates a 560-strong fleet of Cummins-powered Alexander Dennis buses and with Arriva London.
