CPT to host first North of England Ride & Drive

CPT’s inaugural North of England Ride and Drive in Newcastle is planned to take place on 9 March.

This new event follows the success of CPT’s Ride and Drive event held in summer in North Weald, Essex, which has been established since 2012. Like its southern counterpart, the event will feature several vehicle suppliers offering test drives, including EVM and Dawson Group.

CPT expects the event to attract over 100 attendees.

There will also be an assessed drive, with the winner to be announced at CPT’s North of England Regional Dinner held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the evening.

The Ride and Drive event takes place on Saturday 9 March from 11am to 2pm at the Main Car Park of Newcastle College (NE4 7RW).

Andrew McGuinness, CPT’s North of England regional manager, said: “We look forward to welcoming CPT members from all over the UK to what is set to be an exciting session of activities. With such a great line-up of manufacturers exhibiting, it is not one to miss.”

The event is free to CPT members from across the country and will include brunch.
