CPT raises funds for RNLI
CPT has raised over £500 for Eastbourne RNLI.
The CPT raised the funds at its South East and London Annual Dinner last autumn at the Grand Hotel in Eastbourne, which had over 120 attendees.
CPT’s London and South East Chairman, Matthew Arnold, was on hand to present Eastbourne RNLI’s Operations Manager, Carl Pocock, their cheque in Sovereign Harbour.
“The lifeboat crew do an incredible job on behalf of us all, so it was an obvious choice of charity for us to fundraise for” – CPT’s London and South East Chairman, Matthew Arnold
Arnold, who is also Commercial Director at bus operator Stagecoach South East, said: “It was a real pleasure to present this cheque to our friends at RNLI Eastbourne. The lifeboat crew do an incredible job on behalf of us all, so it was an obvious choice of charity for us to fundraise for. It was great to meet everyone, all the crew are so humble!”
“We are extremely grateful to receive this amazing donation from CPT” – Eastbourne RNLI’s Operations Manager, Carl Pocock
Carl Pocock said: “We are extremely grateful to receive this amazing donation from CPT. The RNLI is entirely dependent on donations from the public to keep our lifeboats afloat so this money will go directly to helping us continue to save lives at sea.”
