Courtney Buses turns 40

Wokingham based Courtney Buses has celebrated its 40th anniversary. The company has been promoting to local media the fact it has reached the milestone year and has advertised the fact with new graphics on the sides of its 37 strong fleet. The company was the runner up in the Top Independent Operator of the Year award at the recent UK Bus Awards. Employing 83 staff, Courtney Buses was the first in the country to use bio-fuel. It is currently upgrading its bio-fuel operation, converting its fleet to ultra bio-fuel from Biomotive. The company renews its fleet regularly, with the vast majority under five years old.
