Coastal Coaches’ first ‘deckers are supplied by Chartwell

Chartwell Bus Sales has sold Coastal Coaches of Warton near Preston its first double-deckers. The two buses are Alexander Dennis Enviro400s.

Finished to a high standard, the buses are equipped with 85 belted seats, USB ports and alloy wheels. Following their recent repaint, as a special touch, they have been named Lady Ena and Sir Clem, after Bill Holder’s mother-in-law and father-in-law, continuing Coastal Coaches’ tradition of naming their vehicles after family and friends.

“The ADL Enviro400 is a tried and tested product with excellent after-sales support” – Coastal Coaches Director, Bill Holder

Coastal Coaches Director, Bill Holder, said: “The ADL Enviro400 is a tried and tested product with excellent after-sales support. With 85 belted seats and a coach-like interior, these vehicles are a perfect fit for our high-capacity school travel requirements. Both vehicles have been well received by our customers as they offer value for money and comfort. Where once two vehicles were required for large groups, now one vehicle can accommodate them.”

Established in 2000 by Bill and Helen Holder, Coastal Coaches is an award-winning, family-run business specialising in coach hire with a fleet of Mercedes-Benz and Ivecos.

Founded in 2016 by Steve Swain, who has over 30 years of experience in the UK bus industry, Chartwell Bus Sales supplies both new and used buses, ranging from 22-seaters to 80+ capacity models.
