Chalkwell fundraises for Ukraine Humanitarian appeal

Sittingbourne-based Chalkwell Coaches has launched a fundraising page for the Ukraine Humanitarian appeal, having made a £300 donation to the cause itself.

Chalkwell MD, Roland Eglinton, said: “What’s happening in Ukraine is heart breaking and we wanted, as a company, to take steps in order to help. Our donation will go some of the way to provide food, water, shelter and medical supplies.”

The donation page has been set up via Just Giving to support the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Every pound donated by the UK Public will be matched by the UK Government up to £20 million.
