CaetanoBus hosts National Express forum
CaetanoBus recently hosted the National Express Engineering Forum. The event is organised by the operator and discusses technical developments in its fleet. Held at the CaetanoBus plant in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, several companies attended, including National Express UK Coach, Travelstar European, Mike DeCourcey Travel, Chalfont Coaches, Go South Coast, Bruce Coaches, National Express Stansted, National Express Luton, East Yorkshire Motor Services, Volvo GB and Scania GB. Managers attending the event had the opportunity to see the plant and vehicles built on the site. CaetanoBus has been in business for 70 years and first exported to England in 1967. Today, over 1,000 of the brand’s buses and coaches are in operation in the UK.
