Caetano in hydrogen airport bus study
CaetanoBus is taking part in a study with Portugal’s ANA-Vinci Airports to assess the feasibility of cutting CO2 emissions through replacing ICE buses with hydrogen-powered variants.
The study also includes airport operation vehicles and the initial part of which will evaluate the most appropriate location and several aspects of airport operations, including the type and number of vehicles to consider, the hydrogen-production and distribution strategy, alternative equipment providers, the fleet replacement ramp-up and regulatory requirements, as well as the most viable business model.
