Bus & Coach Buyer’s new website is live

We’ve been working hard on it for months and on Monday the new www.busandcoachbuyer.com website went live.

It is part of a package of developments to what Bus & Coach Buyer brings you that are being introduced as new owners, AT Graphics Ltd, build on the magazine’s existing strong brand and reputation for excellent service built up over the past 24 years.

Concise and easy to use, it provides a new way to interact with us, that is not only more immediate, it will no doubt become increasingly relevant as we go forward. Updating will be on an ongoing basis.

We’ve separated our content into different sections to assist your browsing. Our enhanced news section will now be able to carry more content as we do not face the same space constraints as the printed page. Our Features section gives you the chance to click on a selection of articles on a variety of subjects.

And with the busy lives we all lead it can be that we forget to go back and digest something we meant to; in our Special Report section we’ll be highlighting recent articles that you may have missed.

Our new ‘In Pictures’ section enables us to take a closer look at subjects that warrant it. It has always been a frustration that we cannot always fit in all that is new at major shows, for example, in this feature we can include pictures that there may not otherwise have been room for. We’ve started with a second look at the Busworld exhibition – it’s just like walking round the show.

I’ll be doing something I’ve never done before, with a blog that will be updated on a regular basis. Your feedback will be very welcome.

And with ABC verifying that we have more readers of our printed version than any other weekly, we want you to get the best out of the magazine as an advertising medium. New is our online Recruitment section which provides you with a level of immediacy that can be vital. Your advertisement can be on there today!

New virtual magazine home

We’ve been bringing you the industry’s best on-line virtual magazine for some years now and with the new website Bus & Coach Buyer becomes even more accessible than it has ever been because it can now also be read on tablet devices. Wherever you are, you needn’t be far away from seeing all the latest news, features and advertisements, as well as checking on the archive facility.

Now located within and accessed from the website, our virtual magazine remains the full monty, with nothing removed from what appears in your printed copy, and as before, you can still download it free of charge. We will continue to send you an email reminder every Thursday as a new edition of Bus & Coach Buyer has been released.

It is important to note that current logins used to view our existing virtual magazine will soon stop working as we phase this older system out. You can instead now login directly to our new website to view our virtual magazines and existing online readers should have been emailed a temporary username and password to enable this. The username will have been set as your email address and a random password created for you that can, once you are logged on, be changed to something more memorable by clicking on ‘My Account’.

Don’t forget to check our website regularly and don’t forget to keep a track of any new announcements on our Facebook Page, Twitter Feed and Pinterest link.

Working with the team at Brave Creative we have tried to make it as clear and easy to use as we can but we’re not complacent. This is a live site in every way and when we identify ways in which it can be further enhanced we’ll be bringing them to you. Your early feedback via Twitter has been very positive and we’ll be listening to any ideas you have that might further improve the site.

We are excited about what has been created and hope you like it and enjoy using the new facility.

Happy reading, wherever and however you wish to do it.
