Bernstein Engineering bids farewell
VDL takes over the parts business with ‘same drive and passion’
Jon and Cathy Bernstein of Bernstein Engineering are retiring today (31 August 2023).
Bernstein Engineering began trading in 1986, supplying parts and services to the bus and coach industry. This was initially carried out from premises in Watford and later Aylesbury.
Jon and Cathy would like to say thank you to the suppliers, to Vogelsitze for their valued support in the early years and a special thank you to VDL Group for the support given since the takeover of Jonckheere Bus and Coach.

They are extremely grateful to the Parts Department at VDL Roeselare for the efficient and friendly manner in which business has been conducted for many years.
To all their customers they wish to convey a big thank you for their loyalty and friendship over the years and to wish them well in the future.
Jon says it has been a pleasure to have spent his working life doing a job he has enjoyed and which has given him much satisfaction. Jon and Cathy are looking forward to spending more time with family and touring in their motorhome.
