BASE to import Beulas

Lancashire-based coach dealer, BASE, has agreed to import Beulas products for sale throughout the UK.

The deal will see the full range of Beulas products available to the UK market on both MAN and Scania chassis. BASE says this offers a broad choice of PSVAR compliant specifications on two- and three-axle chassis.

Spare parts have been available through BASE since the demise of Moseley (PCV), but the agreement with Beulas has been extended to also include new vehicle sales.

BASE and Beulas are also offering PSVAR conversions, completed at the Beulas factory in Arbucies, to Cygnus, Spica, Aura and Mythos vehicles already in operation in UK

Nick Dodgson, General Manager at BASE, said: “Since 2015 we have sold nearly two hundred MOBIpeople Explorers, Midi Explorers and more recently the Highfloor Explorer and Premium models, but we are aware that there are sectors of the market that we have been unable to service. The addition of the Beulas product range on MAN and Scania chassis goes a long way to complete our product offering, and we look forward to importing Beulas products for UK customers as the situation for UK coaching hopefully starts to improve next year.”

Dolors Beulas Pascual, Administrative Director at Beulas, said: “For Beulas, the United Kingdom has always been a highly valued market, which is why together with BASE and the Aspinall family we are looking forward to restarting a new stage of collaboration with them in the UK.

“Although 2021 will be a difficult year for everyone, we are convinced that our collaboration will lead us to success due to the personalization of our vehicles and the care that together with BASE we can offer our customers.”
