BASE delivers 100th Beulas
BASE Ltd is celebrating the delivery of its 100th UK Beulas. The landmark vehicle has gone to Holmeswood Coaches Ltd, which specified a 14.6m Glory built on an MAN RR4 480bhp chassis. The coach is the fifth vehicle of its type to be brought into the country. It has 76 seats and one wheelchair position, plus 17 square metres of luggage space. General Manager of BASE, Nick Dodgson, said, ‘We have been importing Beulas vehicles since 2006 and we are proud to have achieved this milestone.’
MD of Holmeswood Coaches Ltd, Francis Aspinall, said, ‘I fell out with my father in law when we bought our first 12m coach, he said we would never fill it. What he would think of our modern vehicles I really shudder to think. We love the style and flexibility of the Glory, despite its overall length you have got great manoeuvrability and it really is a stunning vehicle.’ BASE can be contacted on 01772 425355.
