ATT’s fire suppression passes with flying colours

Alliance Transport Technologies has launched an approved UNECE R107 fire suppression system that has passed the rigorous testing program.

Based on four demanding fire test protocols, each simulating a real-life bus engine fire scenario. The result is a suppression system that can tackle; high and low load fires, high load fires with airflow and a re-ignition challenges.

Marc Haley, Director of Alliance Transport Technologies (ATT) commented: “We believe that Operators are aware of the regulation but unsure of the most suitable product. The approved R107 system from ATT has the least amount of extinguishing agent weight at just 4kg, making it the lowest agent weight approved system on the market.

“This is particularly important when space and weight are at a premium. Utilising high grade Dry Powder and only four nozzles you have a system that delivers huge performance with minimal parts. Not only does the system we offer have R107 approval, all of the components used have undergone even more demanding vehicle certification tests covering thermal cycling, high vibration, mechanical shock & corrosion.”

The technology has also scored the highest score possible on the SPCR 183, 197 & 199 certification schemes.
