Arriva’s Easter angels

Arriva Yorkshire’s ‘Arriva Angels’ team have been handing out Easter treats to passengers and making customers aware of the operator’s app technology. The company is celebrating the half a million milestone mark of downloads of its mobile app. The app is said to be the first national mobile application to provide journey planning, real time maps and service information to passengers.

Regional MD for Arriva Yorkshire, Nigel Featham, said, ‘We want to encourage more of our customers to use the Arriva app this Easter, and what better way to do this than by getting out and about speaking directly to customers. The app gives our passengers the opportunity to see exactly where their bus is on a live map, as well as offering the very latest in journey planning, it really is changing the complete journey experience.’
