Another i6 for Greys

Greys of Ely has added another Irizar i6 Integral to its fleet, following purchasing a similar one in 2014. The 12.9m, DAF powered coach has 57 seats with flat-weave upholstery coupled with iLeather, with the aim being to mimic the interior colours and luxury of high end cars such as Mercedes-Benz and Audi.

Greys MD, Richard Grey, said, ‘Children and young adults boarding the coach often say “wow” and have said the coach is futuristic; the last thing we’d want is to present them with a new coach with echoes of the old school bus. Let’s face it, nobody builds quality cars with garish coloured seats; it’s all muted greys and blacks. We believe that’s the way to appeal to passengers.’
