Altas plans UK launch

Lithuanian minibus manufacturer, Altas Auto, has told B&CB it is planning to offer its products in the UK.

The news comes after the company won silver in international design competition, A’ Design Award, for its Altas Viator. According to the company, it has already developed a cooperation with what it describes as one of the UK’s market leading bus and coach dealerships, but this has yet to be finally confirmed. The plan is for only the Viator to be introduced to these shores initially, although there are plans to extend the offering in time. Altas Auto is expecting developments into the UK no earlier than the second part of 2020.

The company is one of the largest European manufacturers of minibuses, being particularly predominant in the Scandinavian market.
