Allison buys Vantage Power

Allison Transmission Holdings, has purchased Vantage Power, the London-based electrified propulsion specialist.

Vantage Power specialises in developing electrified and connected technologies for heavy-duty vehicle manufacturers. In the PCV industry, it is perhaps best known for its work in creating hybrid repower systems for buses.

President and CEO of Allison Transmission, David S. Graziosi, said: “Vantage Power’s entrepreneurial spirit and technological advancements complement our strategic priorities to meet and exceed our customers’ demands. Through this and other growth initiatives, we will continue to build upon our conventional and electric hybrid products today while differentiating ourselves in the electrification and fuel cell markets.”
