ABTOT extends agreement with CPT
ABTOT has extended its agreement to run Bonded Coach Holidays (BCH) as a tailored consumer protection scheme for the Confederation of Passenger Transport’s (CPT’s) coach tour operator members until 2029.
Since taking over the scheme in 2021, ABTOT has welcomed 20 new coach tour operators under the BCH banner. With the scheme now its 30th year, ABTOT regard BCH as an important benefit available to coach operator members that run package tours.
The announcement ensures the continuation of an exclusive programme of benefits for CPT members including:
- a legal helpline
- compliance guidance for T’s and C’s
- brochure review and advisory services
- a package travel helpline

ABTOT has also confirmed that it has never had, nor currently has, any intention to introduce any further consumer protection schemes for coach operators.
