24 Mercedes Mobility 45s for Nottingham
Nottingham City Council has taken delivery of 24 accessible Euro6 Sprinter Mobility 45s. Operating in Nottingham and surrounding residential areas, the Council will use the vehicles to provide a community transport service for local residents with disabilities.
The minibuses have 19 seats on an Unwin aluminium flat floor system with NMI quick release fittings. Side wall-mounted tracking together with additional anchorage points along the saloon floor create adequate wheelchair space throughout. A device at the rear wheelchair space allows direct communication to the front of the vehicle. The Sprinters have a power sliding entry door and exterior CCTV with dashboard integrated display screen, which also serve as reverse parking cameras. Passengers also benefit from a rear mounted PLS wheelchair lift and electric heating. Power is delivered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 651 DE 22 LA Euro6 engine coupled with a 7G-Tronic-Plus automatic gearbox.
They were supplied by Mercedes-Benz Minibus Sales at EvoBus (UK) Ltd.
