Whippet Puppies

Three ADL Enviro200s, branded Whippet Puppies, have been acquired by Whippet Coaches. They have been transferred from another part of Tower Transit Group, Whippet’s parent company. With the operator’s full size buses having 46 seats, the smaller nature of this latest trio (29 seats) inspired their brand name. The puppies were officially launched at ‘Wood Green The Animals Charity’ in Godmanchester recently, with Whippet Coaches making a donation of £300 to the cause. The new buses are being used on a number of rural services operated on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council, including the 31 and 75, which have new timetables starting on 27 July.
