What’s the
 hold up?

Transport Focus has published a report that looked into when, where and why buses were delayed. Entitled ‘What’s the hold up? Exploring bus service punctuality’, it saw the passenger organisation work with local authorities and operators to gain an insight into punctuality issues. The publication was created following passenger feedback, which suggested punctuality is bus users’ top priority for improvement.

Further to this publication, Transport Focus is to hold bus punctuality seminars across England during June and July. During these events, the organisation is to talk to those responsible for making sure buses show up on time. The next seminar is on 29 June in Liverpool, with more following on 1 July (Birmingham), 9 July (London) and 23 July (Cambridge).
