Ukraine-Germany route launched by FlixBus

FlixBus has launched the first direct coach route from Ukraine to Germany, travelling between Kyiv and Berlin.

The line, N3207, goes between Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Lviv and Berlin. Buses depart four times a week: on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from Kyiv; and on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from Berlin.

The journey time is 24 and a half hours, taking into account stops and the time to cross the border. FlixBus’ partner on this line is Autoexpress LLC, which already operates another FlixBus line from Kyiv to Prague.

Berlin is one of the largest FlixBus transport hubs in Europe, with 130 FlixBus journeys departing from there every day.

Michal Leman, Director of FlixBus in Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic States, said: “FlixBus was born in Germany, and connecting Kyiv and Berlin via direct route is a symbolic event for us. In addition, Berlin is in the top five cities with the greatest demand among Ukrainian passengers.”

FlixBus has 15 lines from Ukraine, seven of which were opened after the start of the full-scale war. Green buses from Ukraine travel to Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Austria.
