UKCOA creates fuel duty rebate template letter

UKCOA has created a template letter for its members to request an increase in fuel duty rebate as the industry is hit by rising fuel prices.

The letter asks the Chancellor of the Exchequer to consider a further increase in Fuel Duty Rebate to 15p per litre for coach services that operate scheduled services as defined in The Public Service Vehicles Accessibility Regulations 2000. It suggests the scheme would only remain in place while fuel remains above a certain level, and could be flexed as prices increase or reduce above the threshold set.
