Treka announces partnership with Blackpool Council

Treka has announced a new partnership with Blackpool Council.

The local authority has now taken delivery of its first Mobility+ minibuses, the first time it has added Treka models to its large fleet of accessible vehicles. Following driver and user feedback, there may be an opportunity to further expand Blackpool’s Treka fleet in the future, a prospect the manufacturer is excited to support.

The three new Mobility+ vehicles are already out on the roads, supporting College Transport for Adults and Children’s Services. Two of the buses are being used for adult college transport, while the third is helping younger users get to where they need to be safely and comfortably.

Designed with flexibility and accessibility in mind, each Treka Mobility+ can carry up to 16 seated passengers or 6 wheelchair users. The Single Glider Door makes getting on and off simple for everyone, while the underfloor tail lift offers additional support when needed.
