Translink Chief Exec’ to leave

Group Chief Executive of Translink, Catherine Mason, is to leave her post in March 2014 to take up a position in NATS, providers of Air Traffic Management (ATM) services. Catherine said, ‘It is with mixed emotions I am making this move; firstly genuine sadness, I have enjoyed my time in Translink and Northern Ireland. I also feel huge pride in the success Translink has had, during very difficult economic times. We have grown passenger numbers and customer satisfaction is very high due to major investment programmes in new buses and trains, infrastructure works and passenger facilities and huge innovation in ticketing and customer information. None of this would have been possible without the professionalism and expertise of everyone in Translink and all done with a warmth to, and care for our customers. I wish to thank all my colleagues in Translink for their friendship, support and hard work over the past years; I can confidently say Translink is among the best when it comes to passenger transport.’
