Train ticket amnesty

Transdev is running a train ticket amnesty offer on its new CityZap service. The deal allows people to swap their weekly train ticket for a half price monthly Cityzap pass. The new intercity bus service takes customers non-stop between York and Leeds using the latest sat-nav technology. The service runs every 30 minutes and the company claims it offers a credible alternative to both the car and the train. The offer lasts until 21 May 2016.

CEO for Transdev, Alex Hornby, said, ‘We’re so pleased to be able to continue our zappy offers in May, it’s a great deal for commuters who may normally take the train. We’re gaining some great feedback about the service too, customers are really enjoying the free Wi-Fi and the personal USB power points. Customers tell us they want to get to where they need to be quickly and comfortably, that’s what Cityzap does. Of course, not forgetting the ability to avoid any congestion on the way with our Zap-Nav!’
