Timberbush celebrates 20 years with nine new coaches

Timberbush Tours is celebrating 20 years of touring in 2018 and has just invested £1.2m in nine new coaches.

Timberbush has purchased a new 47-seater MAN Barbie Galileo 47-seater from BASE Coach Sales. Mercedes-Benz make up the rest of the compliment, with three Atego based Indcar 33-seaters purchased from Moseley Distributors and two 19-seater and three 16-seater Sprinter 516CDI coaches bought from Coach Traders in Whitburn, West Lothian. The investment brings the fleet size up to 23. The company ferries holiday makers and day trippers to destinations across the Scottish Highlands and Islands, as well as the north of England from Edinburgh and Glasgow. It also carries out private tours and corporate hires.

CEO of Timberbush Tours, Steve Spalding, said: “The new investment is significant for us, not least because these coaches are fitted out to our own specifications and reflect our commitment to continually re-fleet and replace our coaches with the most environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient vehicles available. Our entire coach fleet is less than three years old and this is our blueprint in an industry where a company’s ‘green’ credentials are a huge consideration for customers. This is something we take great pride in, having been accredited with the Green Business Tourism Scheme Gold Award and EcoStars 5 Star rating.”
