StreetLite Max first for First

Wrightbus has handed over a new StreetLite Max to FirstBus, the first vehicle of its type specified with a 5.1-litre Daimler Euro6 engine. The Daimler engine is now an additional option to the Cummins 4.5-litre power unit. Presented at Euro Bus Expo, it is liveried in a variation of First Potteries’ colours and is due to enter service on the ‘Raspberry Route’ between Hanley and Blythe Bridge. The new bus comes fitted with leather seats, CCTV and a modern interior design as standard. It is due to enter service in early 2015. The national operator already has 223 of the 11.5m Euro5 versions of the Wrightbus StreetLite Max in service.
