Stanford Sprinter for Princess Marina House

A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313 based wheelchair accessible conversion from Stanford Coachworks has been supplied to Princess Marina House in Rustington, West Sussex, a seaside retreat for ex-Service members of the RAF. The medium wheelbase vehicle has a 2.2litre 126bhp Euro5 engine matched to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. Two of its eight seats are fixed just above the wheel arches and the remaining are detachable on NMI legs with wheels to facilitate quick removal. A Ratcliff 350kg cassette lift has been fitted. It also has three sets of Koller Fast wheelchair and occupant restraints, a reversing camera and reverse aid parking sensors.
