Stagecoach launches Enviro300s in Perth

Stagecoach has launched ten new ADL Enviro300s on routes 1 and 2 between Letham and Tulloch in Perth. Both routes operate every ten minutes Monday to Saturday during the daytime, and every 30 minutes each evening and on Sundays. The 41-seater single deckers represent a £1.4m investment in the town’s services. Each of these latest buses feature fresh, route specific branding and free wi-fi. They were launched at an event at McDiarmid Park. It follows the introduction of five similar vehicles that are used on route 9 which joined the Perth fleet in May.

MD, Stagecoach East Scotland, Andrew Jarvis, said, ‘We’d like to introduce these new buses to the community, and celebrate the investment we’ve made, so we’ve planned this family event to encourage people to come down and experience the new vehicles, learn more about the buses and the services we operate, but most importantly have some fun, completely free on one of the last days of the school holidays! McDiarmid Park is on the route of our 1/2 services anyway, so hop on the bus to come and see us, and if you show us your valid bus ticket when you get there, we’ll give you a free upgrade to a weekly megarider too!’
