SLG multi-million-pound Tourismo order

Specialist Leisure Group (SLG) has placed a multi-million-pound order for 29 Mercedes Tourimso M/2 coaches. Due for delivery in October and November 2019, 19 coaches will join the Shearings Holidays fleet and 10 will join the National Holidays fleet. The order is part of the company’s ongoing vehicle renewal programme.

Like the 43 new coaches ordered last year, they will feature lateral movement seats to allow more ‘elbow room’ (the aisle seat can shift out into the aisle). The new coaches will also feature individual USB charge points and free wifi, so customers can take advantage of SLG’s new, free onboard entertainment system called ‘Roadshow’.
