More services for route 66

TfL has added extra services on its route 66 to meet increased passenger demand in the Newbury Park area. It will see more buses run during the morning and evening weekday peak times, as well as in the evenings and on Sundays. Running between Romford and Leytonstone via Little Heath, Newbury Park, Gants Hill, Redbridge and Wanstead, the service is operated by Arriva Southend.

Head of Network Development for TfL, John Barry, said, ‘London has an extensive bus network which we keep under regular review. We are always seeking cost-effective ways in which we can improve the service we provide for our passengers.  These additional services and increased frequencies will deliver benefits where they are needed most.’
