Scania Irizar i6 for Blakes

Blakes Coaches of Tiverton, Devon has taken delivery of another Scania Irizar i6 based on a K 440 EB 6×2*4 chassis with a 440hp Euro5 Scania engine and the manufacturer’s fully-automated Opticruise gear selection system. The vehicle has 53 half-leather seats, footrests, rear seat tables, extra dark tinted glazing, aircraft locker doors, a forward facing camera, a reversing camera, Bosch audio/video, an integrated microphone in the driver’s seat, Bluetooth, an i-Pod connection, a servery, a washroom, a courier locker, external down lighting and wi-fi. As with all Scania coaches supplied to the retail market, the vehicle comes with an integrated fleet management solution, whereby the operator receives weekly performance reports.
