RHA providing starter tool kits to apprentices

RHA’s charity arm, RHA Benevolent Fund, is providing up to 20 starter tool boxes for apprentice engineers.

It has teamed up with Draper Tools and HGV Direct to provide the starter sets, which include pliers, spanners and socket sets and also includes a roller chest and top box.

RHA Benevolent Fund has also funded a 24/7, 365-days a year wellbeing service for members, their teams and dependents, giving access to a variety of services including counselling, all included in the membership.

The RHA benevolent fund also provides assistance at times of unexpected hardship. Examples of this in the coach industry include paying approximately £2,000 worth of domestic bills while a driver recovered from a broken foot and around £1,600 worth of mortgage repayments made while a driver was out of action due to a snapped Achilles tendon.
