Galloway European Coachlines Ltd is looking to recruit a Transport Operations Manager to be based at its operation in Mendlesham, Suffolk.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join us and oversee our busy transport department.
About us:
Galloway, founded in 1965 and based at our own premises in Mendlesham, Suffolk is one of the leading coach operators in East Anglia. We provide a full range of road passenger transport solutions including a National Express services, home to school travel and private coach hire, as well as specialising in and operating overseas school educational trips. Our current operating licence capacity is 50 vehicles which predominantly comprise 48 – 53 seat coaches including several PSVAR vehicles. The Vehicle Fleet is maintained by our own highly trained staff in purpose-built maintenance facilities which have remained award winning for the last 6 years.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone to lead our busy transport operation to ensure that we run efficiently, safely and remain legally compliant on a day-to-day basis. You must have strong management experience within the coach industry as well as a flexible approach to work, being able to effectively manage and prioritise consistently. You will need excellent verbal and written skills as well as a proficiency in Microsoft office programmes and previous knowledge of the Distinctive Systems Coach Manager system is advantageous.

Licence/ Certification:
A PSV Transport Manager CPC is extremely desirable however the right candidate with an ability and willingness to obtain within 6 months will be considered as you will be required to be named on our Operators licence.
PCV Category D Licence required.
Salary:
Excellent salary negotiable dependant on experience.
Hours:
Full Time, however a part time basis may be considered for exceptional candidates.
