The Kings Ferry is based in Gillingham, Kent and is part of the National Express Group. We operate commuter services in and out of London daily, extensive UK and European private hire work, VIP work including football team travel and other key contracts.
We have a great team at Kingsferry, and are looking for an Operations Duty Controller to join the team for the exciting journey into 2017 into our next period of growth.
As an Operations Duty Controller, you are in control of the day to day operation and the face that drivers become familiar with as their first point of contact; you should be a people person who can effectively manage and influence others throughout your duties.
We have one of the best fleets of vehicles in the industry, and we are keen to make sure our customers are always looked after – so you should have true desire in offering faultless service to our customers and supporting/coaching our drivers to do the same.
Our operation is 24 hour, and this role begins with a night based shift pattern – including work on weekends and bank holidays. Being proficient with IT is necessary, although we provide full training in the systems used by us.
Experience is desirable, as is a CPC in International Passenger Transport although training for the role will be provided. A full, PCV licence is essential for the role.
