We have some exciting plans for the future and we’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our team to help develop things further.

About the Role

You will be working to Sales targets and budgets in a telesales environment. Able to build relationships with your clients and comfortable working to a CRM system. You will also work with the wider Editorial team to publish the magazine effectively and support the companies and suppliers in the industry in as many ways as possible, face to face meetings and the many digital and print marketing opportunities.

You will maintain a good understanding of the market and our competitors, ensuring that our brand delivers key messages and appeals to our audiences in a competitive environment and contains the right products.

Working closely with the Marketing, Digital and Production teams, you will work collaboratively to maintain the current client base and bring our products to new advertisers.

About You

We are looking for a talented Sales Executive with demonstrable experience in a similar role, where you have been responsible for managing key accounts and maximising sales.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role due to the range of customers you will be working with. You should be confident in representing the Bus & Coach Buyer brand and passionate about delivering across all projects.

You should be able to juggle multiple priorities at any one time and have fantastic organisational skills to deliver to tight timeframes. You will also have a critical eye for detail in everything you do.

Whilst your skill set and experience are is important to us, your mindset and learning agility is of equal interest.

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.  


  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Successfully create business from new, lapsed and existing customer accounts
  • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers


  • 2-5 years’ quota carrying sales experience
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
