Reays join Guild

Reays Coaches of Cumbria has been accepted into the Guild of British Coach Operators. The Guild celebrates its 30th anniversary of promoting and marketing the services of its 24 members this year. Its associates commit to meeting the highest quality standards, assured by regular independent audits. Prospective members have to achieve a 100% pass before being accepted into the organisation. The Guild is also registered as a Driver CPC training centre, giving members access to a suite of courses specifically designed for the coach industry. Following Reays appointment, a 25th member is soon to be announced.

MD of Reays, Chris Reay, said, ‘This is a very proud day for me and, indeed, for Reays Coaches. My father started the family business running just a single mini-bus in 1980. It is hard to believe how far we have come. He would be amazed. To be accepted as a member of the Guild of British Coach Operators is literally a dream come true for me. It really is the pinnacle of the coach industry and I am genuinely delighted to have passed the Guild’s demanding audit. On a personal level, I am very excited to become a part of such an elite organisation. I am looking forward to making a positive contribution to the Guild in both an entrepreneurial and hands on capacity.’
