Prime promoted at EvoBus

Jonathan Prime has been promoted as the new Director Sales Mercedes-Benz at EvoBus UK.

Jonathan, who has strong family ties to the industry through father Steve and uncle Peter, has worked in the sector for over 20 years. He has a wealth of experience to draw upon and an extensive network of contacts. During his career he has held positions in both the bus and coach sectors, having been Sales Manager at MAN Truck & Bus UK and then Sales Director at Optare.

Jonathan joined EvoBus UK in September 2008 taking over responsibility for Mercedes-Benz Coach Sales in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Since then he has formed an industry leading sales team that has been instrumental in growing the Mercedes-Benz coach sales business from being a niche player to becoming the market leader in the coach segment.

Jonathan said: “After ten successful years at EvoBus the time was right for a new challenge. I am very excited to take up this position and I am looking forward to working with, and being part of, the new Board of Management. Now is the perfect time for us as a business to reflect on what we have achieved and focus on how we continue to grow while facing future challenges and opportunities.”
