PHVC acquires Atlas Mobility Conversions
PHVC Minibus and Fleet Suppliers has acquired Atlas Mobility Conversions. The latter is a family-run converter with over 40 years of expertise in wheelchair accessible and bespoke vehicle conversions.
The two companies have worked closely together for decades, which PHVC says makes the move a natural fit. The acquisition allows PHVC to expand its offering with Atlas’ specialist conversion skills while giving customers access to greater vehicle availability and more competitive lease options.
Atlas’ range of solutions include wheelchair accessible cars, minibuses to taxi conversions, driving adaptations and bespoke vehicles such as crew vans and day vans. This complements PHVC’s strong partnerships with manufacturers including Ford, Vauxhall and Iveco.
Both businesses are based close by each other, with PHVC in Fareham and Atlas in Warshash, between Portsmouth and Southampton.
