Pelican promotes Katrina Hogan to Chief Operating Officer
Pelican Engineering Group is promoting Katrina Hogan to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Katrina’s new role starts on 1 September 2025.
Katrina joined Pelican almost ten years ago in the finance department before moving into the aftersales team, where she rose to become Yutong Aftersales Manager playing a central role in building Pelican’s nationwide aftersales operation for Yutong. Under her leadership, the company has expanded its support network, strengthened customer confidence and invested heavily in service capability to match the rapid growth of the Yutong brand.
In her new role, Katrina will be responsible for all commercial operations including the company’s truck dealerships, Pelican AEAUTO, Pelican EV Automotive Training and Pelican Bus + Coach. Ian Downie retains overall responsibility for vehicle sales while Managing Director, Richard Crump, will concentrate on the company’s strategic direction and customer focus.
Katrina said: “I am grateful for the opportunity to take on this new role and excited to help lead the company into its next phase of growth. I look forward to working closely with the management team to drive operational excellence.”
Richard Crump, Managing Director of Pelican Engineering Group, said: “Katrina has been instrumental in shaping our aftersales operation. Promoting her to Chief Operating Officer is a natural step as we continue to expand, and it reflects both Katrina’s capability and our commitment to ensuring we deliver the best possible support to operators.”
