FirstGroup owned Greyhound is expecting to carry over 1m customers in North America this holiday season. The majority of Greyhound’s fleet features premium amenities including leather seats, extra legroom, power outlets and free onboard Wi-Fi.
FirstGroup has donated £10,000 this Christmas to its national charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support. Rather than sending traditional Christmas cards this year, the operator has posted a Christmas message on its website, including a reference to Macmillan. As a token of the savings made, First has donated an extra £10,000 to its charity partner.

A team of seven Stagecoach Yorkshire bus drivers dressed as reindeer pulled one of the company’s double deckers through Doncaster town centre in a charity event in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee’s (DEC) Philippines Typhoon Appeal. A total of £770 has been raised so far, with the operator promising to match the funds.
