Optares for PC Coaches

PC Coaches has added an Optare MetroCity and two Solos to its fleet. The Solos will operate on the Lincoln Castle Shuttle, Lincoln’s first Park&Ride service. This will be transporting visitors to view the 800 year old Magna Carta in Lincoln Castle. The Euro5 9m Solos seat up to 30 and the 11.5m Euro5 MetroCity seats up to 41.

Engineering Director, PC Coaches, Mark Andrews, said, ‘We already operate eight Optare vehicles and their stylish good looks and excellent accessibility are a big hit with our customers and drivers alike. The vehicles are delivering excellent fuel economy and have proven to be extremely reliable and easy to maintain.’

The buses were supplied by Optare.
