Nu-Track’s Pulse reaches 100 mark

Nu-Track’s Pulse wheelchair accessible bus has clocked up 100 sales since its unveiling in Antrim in June 2014. Wrightbus owned Nu-Track and MAN Truck & Bus UK collaborated to bring the model straight to Euro6 on a 10 tonne TGL chassis with a four-cylinder 4.6-litre D0834 fitted as standard. The vehicle’s front aspect retains the look of the TGL cab and is supplied as a chassis cab with the parts necessary for conversion to a PCV. All the homologation work was carried out by MAN Truck & Bus UK.

MAN Truck & Bus UK General Manager, Paul Gardner, said, ‘Nu-Track spotted a niche in the market and worked with MAN to create the Pulse to fulfil that. Its development took nine months from start to finish and the strength of the sales speak for themselves. Initially it was created to meet the needs of the market in Northern Ireland, but it has taken off and is proving extremely popular in the London boroughs. When orders are being placed it is tending to be for ten at a time rather than one or two. We have appointed Graham Wilkinson to promote our combined services and we expect sales to continue growing over the next few months.’
