Nexus refurbishes Jarrow station

North east transport authority, Nexus, has completed a project to refurbish Jarrow bus station. The £120,000 scheme includes improvements to passenger waiting areas, lighting and security. Nexus, which manages Jarrow bus station, has installed five new modern bus shelters to replace the previous two 20 year old ‘tunnels’. The refurbishment project has taken three months to complete.
