New public procurement rules – Stone King to hold seminar

New rules surrounding public procurement are coming into practice. Among other features, the updated rules introduce SME-friendly policies.

For help in preparing for the new legislation, legal specialist Stone King is to hold a webinar on the new public procurement rules on 30 April 2025. The free session is scheduled to run from 1pm to 2pm.

The Procurement Act 2023 is intended to make public procurement in the UK easier, fairer and more transparent for suppliers, especially SMEs. Rules have been simplified and there is more transparency built in to the process. Barriers like excessive insurance requirements have been scrapped to help smaller operators win contracts.
