New Mellor Strata High Floors transform East Riding transport
Mellor has delivered four Strata High Floor buses to East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
These latest additions are part of the council’s ongoing fleet renewal program, having recently taken two Treka Mobilitys. Over the past 20 years, more than 100 Mellor vehicles have been integrated into the council’s operations.
The new vehicles offer seating for up to 14 passengers, along with dedicated space for two wheelchair users. They each have side doors, double rear door and an internal tail lift. Onboard features include dual-unit climate control for year-round comfort and advanced CCTV for improved safety.
“The vehicles are bright and spacious inside, with ample room to manoeuvre the wheelchairs of both children and adults with additional needs” – Mandy Rydel, Transport Operations Manager for East Riding of Yorkshire Council
