NCT’s 40 vehicle investment complete

Nottingham City Transport’s (NCT) Lime line 58 has become the last route to benefit from the operator’s recent 40 vehicle investment. The route has been given new ADL Enviro400s, which feature E-Leather trimmed seats, more leg room in the upper deck compared to previous vehicles and free Wi-fi. The new buses operate between Arnold, Sherwood and the city centre every seven minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes.

NCT Marketing Manager, Anthony Carver-Smith, said, ‘Customers on the Orange Line 36, Red Line 43 and Turquoise Line 77 have all been introduced to our new buses and comments to our social media channels and Travel Centre have been hugely positive. Passengers are enjoying the comfort and quietness of the ride, and 21st Century technology enables them to not only know exactly what time their bus will arrive at their stop, but once on board they’re able to surf online using our free Wi-Fi! All of the new double decks’ features help to create a great journey experience for our new and loyal customers, which is something we’re constantly striving for at NCT.’
