NCT working around tram works

Nottingham City Transport (NCT) is to make ‘significant changes’ to most of its Clifton bus services from 2 February as the next phase of tram works begin and two key roads are closed on the southern side of the estate. From the same date, the northern end of Southchurch Drive will re-open to buses and Navy Line 2 and 3 will revert to using their normal route along Wilford Lane. NCT has worked closely with Nottingham City Council’s Public Transport Team and Tram Project Team in developing these diversions and it has ensured all accessible roads continue to have a bus service. In some cases, customers will have to change buses for through journeys to the city centre at Southchurch Drive shops, which will once again be served following the re-opening of this part of Clifton.
